FeesContest Entry: $25.00 GuidelinesThere’s an old rabbinical saying: If all the congregants like the rabbi, then the rabbi’s not challenging them enough; if all the congregants dislike the rabbi, then the rabbi should be looking for another profession; but if some of the congregants like the rabbi and some dislike the rabbi, the rabbi’s doing a good job! Here’s a chance to take a stand. Tell us what kind of Super Hero your rabbi represents. Taller than the tallest congregant? Able to bend your will with just an encouraging word? Possessed of mystical power? Able to juggle a dozen separate complaints at once? In short, why is your rabbi the type of person you admire? Write a short story so we can learn what makes your rabbi a Super Hero, at least to you. EligibilityStories must be previously unpublished and contain Jewish Content.
